Flatbed Trucking
Y2K transports construction materials, lumber, steel, equipment and other commercial freight using flatbeds selected for the shipment, its loading requirements and the destination.
Y2K provides local flatbed trucking for businesses that need to move large, long, heavy or difficult-to-load freight.
Lumber suppliers, builders, contractors and construction companies.
Rebar manufacturers, fabricators, steel suppliers and metal companies.
Electrical contractors, suppliers and other industrial businesses.
Tile, flooring and building-finish suppliers requiring reliable freight transportation.
Freight brokers and transportation companies needing local flatbed capacity.
Freight requiring transportation to or from ports and terminal facilities.
Flatbed transportation for materials that need the flexibility of open-deck loading. These are the most common shipments we handle — not the limit of our capabilities.
Our current fleet includes one-, three- and five-ton flatbeds, single- and tandem-axle flatdecks, and curtain-side / China-top units.
Flexible equipment and specialized transportation options for challenging loads, job sites and commercial freight.
These delivery options apply to eligible flatbed shipments. All services assume delivery customers are open until 5:00 p.m.; if the receiving location closes earlier, delivery may be completed the next working day.
Our most economical option, using a six-hour delivery window. Cutoff 11:00 a.m. for the Lower Mainland, 10:00 a.m. for the Fraser Valley.
Pickup and delivery within a four-hour window. Cutoff 12:00 p.m. for the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
Expedited delivery within a two-hour window. Cutoff 2:00 p.m. for the Lower Mainland, 1:00 p.m. for the Fraser Valley.
The first available appropriate flatbed is dispatched to the pickup and travels directly to the delivery location. Subject to vehicle and dispatch availability — direct requests can usually be accommodated beyond the standard cutoffs.
Need something outside our standard options? We can coordinate customized equipment, handling and scheduling, including after-hours, weekend, hourly and hot-shot service.
Our regular flatbed trucking service area covers the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley — from Chilliwack to West Vancouver and the communities in between.
